Summary

Our Main AIM

Our main aim is to foster environmental consciousness among all project participants. This includes the active engagement of students, teachers, the school community, parents and individuals in our partner countries.

Our specific objectives are as follows:

O1: raising awareness of limited energy sources and pollution, underlining the collective responsibility for preserving the env ironment throughout Europe.

O2: promoting the values of sustainable production, conservation, recycling, and reusing.

O3: motivating students to actively participate in the learning process through GAMIFICATION

O4: cultivating a deeper appreciation for nature and a love of animals

O5: inspiring parents and communities to address climate change collaboratively

O6: integrating project outcomes to enhance and enrich the curriculum

O7: enhancing participants' language and communication skills through cross-cultural interactions, fostering lasting relationships with their European peers.

O8: strengthening students' decision-making, team-building and presentation skills, encourage creativity and critical thinking through collaborative tasks

O9: introducing practical and useful WEB 2 tools to enhance digital competence of the participants

* Our project, which focuses on environmental protection, is concerned with research into endemic species and natural history in the partner countries. Ss will learn to appreciate biodiversity, avoid habitat destruction and develop a deep appreciation
for nature, which strengthens their commitment to environmental protection. Besides, understanding the vital role of water for different species will encourage Ss’ sense of responsibility and help them grow into conscientious citizens.
* By emphasizing the development of key competencies, participants will improve their English language skills and understand basic concepts of the partner languages. Through online sessions and mobility activities, teachers will gain expertise in I
CT skills, including WEB 2.0 tools, communication tools, cloud storage, website design and eTwinning. In addition, Ss will be encouraged to express their environmental concerns using various web tools to create posters, movies and puzzles to promote their digital skills.

The expected outcomes:
• A TEACHING PACK with 40 lesson plans and examples of good practices, incorporating gamification techniques like quiz
zes, challenges, and interactive games to actively engage Ss and foster a deeper understanding of environmental topics,
• A GAME LIBRARY (at least 20 games at Genially, Kahoot, Wordwall),
• a DIGITAL BOOKLET about tips and instructions on eTwinning and WEB 2.0 tools
• Short STORIES related to climate change (at Storyjumper, Bookcreator)
• The project’s TWINSPACE and WEBSITE,
• Documentary VIDEO of the project,
• Podcasts on responsible consumption and production,
• e-MAGAZINE of the project
• Posters and slogans
